Food Review: Nashta, Gurgaon

Nashta is a one of its kind concept that has opened up in Gurgaon. Virtual restaurant - that surely is a first!

Nashta delivers breakfast in Gurgaon(not too sure about the exact locations where it delivers to) from 6am-1pm. From its menu, I learnt that it has a different menu for each day of the week. However, when I called to place my order, I was offered a Lebanese menu, something that's only available on Saturdays. Extremely happy that I was, called for a premium veg combo. I was promised of the delivery being made between 45 mins-1 hour, and I received my order in 40 mins.

The premium combo consisted of 1 big meal + 1 fruit bowl + 1 salad + 1 juice + 1 dessert. This costs 319 all inclusive. The Lebanese combo consisted of hummus, falafel and pita bread as a 1 big meal, 1 fruit bowl, 1 greek salad that had tomatoes replaced with red bell peppers on request, 1 almond brownie and 1 beetroot juice with mint. You don't necessarily have to order the entire meal, you can even just order only a few components of the meal.

The big meal had 4 pieces of falafel, pita bread, hummus and grilled vegetables. Now this falafel was so good that you won't get such a mind-blowing falafel at even the proper dine-in restaurants! The hummus was more garlic-y than normal - something that I absolutely loved! The pita was extremely soft, and the grilled vegetables were the real surprise package - delicious! The best part about this big meal was that it was warm when it came. I expected the food to be cold, but I was really impressed when I took the first bite and realised that the food was a notch above being just warm.

The fruit bowl, again, was extremely fresh and looked so pretty!!

The brownie was gooey, chocolatey, and tasted just marvelous!

The juice was sweet, tangy and really really different from what we have otherwise! It contained chunks of orange - the component that added a touch of contrast to the juice. Simply superb!

The quantity of each and every component of this meal was really impressive! If you have an extremely hearty appetite, then this meal will fill you to the brim, but if you have an average appetite, then it's good for 2. The quantity is good alright, but what will really bowl you over the moment you glance at the box in the delivery boy's hand, is the packaging! The place gets a 5/5 from me for every other aspect, but for packaging alone, they get a 6/5!! Such cute packs for the dips, such awesome disposable fork, knife and spoon, and such compact boxes for the food!!

The place has really excelled at every front - taste, presentation, quantity, delivery time. My experience was so good that I can really not find words to describe it! The place is doing an exceptional job, and I can't wait to try the other things on their menu! Really really impressed with some place after a reallyyyy long time! :D

Everybody should order from this place at least once!!
